lost a rear bogey wheel last trip west and i have been thinking into doing a big wheel kit. Are they worth it? Would I need a 144 track then? Do they justify themselves?

I'm guessing you could just loosen your track tensioners and install the big wheels. The difference in tension should account for the larger diameter.

thats where i was unsure someone told me one you need a longer track for a big wheel kit, but the extra 10 inches is alot to get eaten up buy bigger wheel and slack adjustment, does teh big wheel kit act as a bit of a rail extension too?

I was told is reduces friction meaning you can go a little faster kinda thing.. but yea, i can't imagine a set of big wheels and cranking your tensioners out would makeup the extra 10 inches of track. those would be some big ass wheels!

on a trail sled especially a long track you will not notice anything on the stock speedo, heck running against a timing system that goes out to the thousanth of a second you dont notice from just a wheel swap.

putting them on a trail sled is for the wow factor. on a race sled they are there for the rolling factor.

are they worth it, in my opinion yes because they help the sled look that much more bad ass.

when i put the 8" wheels on they fit on with no problem, when i put on the 10 tooth drivers it got real tight on the track.

without a doubt i have used other brands and i would only use tricked toys again. very nice people, got there product out to me very timely. there are other companys out there but some of them are known for poor customer service.

thanks guys, i figured they were mostly a looks factor, I just remember the sled my dad just bought came with a big wheel kit and it looks like it kinda has a rail extension built into it, can you get either kind? cause the guy he bought it from told him it had a 151 track but the factory sticker on the side says 144, 05 Vertical Escape I believe
